The tools a formulation team uses every day
OptiFormula 6.0 runs on 64-bit Windows and keeps its data in a central SQL Server database.
LP and non-linear (NLP) solver
Solves hundreds of ingredient and nutrient limits quickly. It accounts for the non-linear effect of phytase and NSP enzymes and for mixer batch rounding.
Shadow prices and parametric analysis
Shows the price at which an unused ingredient would enter the formula, and the price break points of the ones in use. You go into a purchasing negotiation with numbers.
NIR and lab results
Imports NIR or wet-chemistry results for incoming lots into the ingredient matrix and updates nutrient values for dry-matter changes.
Nutrient ratios and equation editor
Define SID/TID amino acid profiles, Ca/P ratios, DCAD and your own energy equations for poultry, ruminants and aquaculture.
ERP, automation and labels
Sends approved formulas to the batching system (PLC) and your ERP, and prints regulation-compliant feed labels in one step.
Permissions and change history
